Bad Trip is an upcoming American hidden camera comedy film directed by Kitao Sakurai and produced by Eric Andre, David Bernad, Ruben Fleischer, and Jeff Tremaine.[1][2] The film, which stars Andre, Lil Rel Howery and Tiffany Haddish, is scheduled to be released on April 24, 2020 by Orion Pictures.

Premise[edit]

Directed by Kitao Sakurai, Andre's helmer on his Adult Swim series The Eric Andre Show, the prank comedy follows two best friends on a cross-country road trip full of inventive pranks, pulling its real-life audience into the mayhem.

Production[edit]

During the conceptualization of the film, Andre attended Robert McKee's Story Seminars and consulted Jeff Tremaine and Nathan Fielder. Andre also screened the film before release for Sacha Baron Cohen.[3]

Release[edit]

It is scheduled to be released on April 24, 2020.[4] It was previously scheduled to be released on October 25, 2019 and February 28, 2020.[5][6][7]
